As a Area Education Specialist, you will:
- Travel to locations and regions to provide education on topics
identified through analysis of office assessments and other performance
metrics.
- Support and facilitate RN clinical manager orientation, training and
development.
- Evaluate business results and assists operations and operations support
personnel in designing training strategies to influence growth in
business improvement in performance and to ensure all staff are provided
appropriate education to perform their jobs.
- Provide on-site support at Best Practice Locations.
- Attend courses/seminars/workshops, reviews industry publications. Keep
abreast of cutting edge relevant technological developments.
- Work with Training and Development department in the development of new
educational offerings and updates current information.
- Facilitate Classes and serve as a mentor to Caregiver Advocates.
- Educate the line managers on new products and protocols
- Coordinate communications and information flows between Corporate
support groups, and provides clinical assessments/analyses when
required. Accountable to proactively identify issues and requests
assistance up-line as indicated.
- Adhere to and participates in Company's mandatory HIPAA privacy program
/ practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs / practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or the equivalent
- Minimum of five years clinical experience and two years clinical
development/education experience in a home care environment generally
required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice plus strong knowledge of
home health operations/regulations required.
- Board knowledge of home health agency regulatory requirements and
administration.
- Excellent proactive leadership skills, strong verbal/written
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective education programs.
- Extensive travel required.
